“Parallel Play” is a space for our neurodivergent kids to explore their interests with (or just near!) their peers. It’s totally up to them what they want to do, and if/how much they want to interact with the other kids. Ideally, kids will bring something they love to do (crafts, games, books, projects – whatever!) but I will also be bringing things to play with as well. Teacher Bio: I moved to VA from TN about 2 years ago for my husband’s job. I am currently homeschooling my two kids (ages 6 and 8) but before having kids, I was a middle school math teacher!
